ORDINANCE NO. /.;? - 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the <br /> City of Everett, as provided by Everett City <br /> Code 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3572) entitled: <br /> "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the <br /> location and use of buildings and land within the <br /> City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; <br /> prescribing building line and size of yard and other <br /> open spaces; providing for the division of the City <br /> into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; <br /> and providing for penalties for violation of the <br /> Ordinance. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation <br /> of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the <br /> area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned R-4, Multiple Family <br /> High Density Residence Zone, and such zoning will be in harmony with the <br /> Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby <br /> concur in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that <br /> the change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett, <br /> and will not be in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the <br /> City of Everett. <br /> Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Everett City Code 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3572, Section 4) is hereby <br /> amended as follows: <br /> Portion of the E 1/2 of Section 19, T28N, R5 EWM: <br /> Beginning at the E 1/4 corner of said Section 19, which <br /> is the TPOB; thence S 0°4'E, 252. 64 ft. ; th S 89°56'W, <br /> 230. 00 ft. ; thence N 0°4'W, 590. 68 ft. ; thence S <br /> 88035'45"E. , 230. 08 ft. ; thence S 0°4' E, 332. 13 ft. to <br /> the TPOB, except the E. 30. 0 ft. for road. (Approx. <br /> 2. 8 AC. on the West side of 19th Avenue immediately <br /> North of the Silver Lake Shopping Center), <br /> be zoned from R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residence Zone, to R-4 <br /> Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone. <br /> Section 3: That the official zone map shall, upon the passage of this <br /> Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and <br /> henceforth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which <br /> the same is now established, as provided by Everett City Code 15. 04. 040 <br /> (Ordinance 3572) as amended. <br /> Section 4: The City Clerk is hereby instructed to file the duly certified copy <br /> of this Ordinance with the County Auditor of Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> ATT [ / / <br /> •u y lerk MAYOR /QQ • /27 <br /> Passed: 3 /O - 7 / <br /> Valid: 3-/ <br /> Published: 7 <br />
