Except <br /> as otherwise provided herein, all permits lawfully issued under <br /> the provisions of any ordinance repealed by this code shall remain <br /> in force and effect until the expiration thereof, unless sooner <br /> surrendered or revoked; subject, however, to all other provisions <br /> of this code. <br /> Section 9. 46 . 02.100 Vehicle owner to act in person--Agents . <br /> Every act or statement required to be made by the owner or <br /> operator of any vehicle shall be made or done by the owner or <br /> operator of any vehicle and shall be made or done by the owner in <br /> person, unless such owner is a company or corporation or incapable <br /> of acting in person, and if the same is made or done by the agent, <br /> the necessity thereof shall be stated and shown. <br /> Section 10. 46 . 02. 110 False representation prohibited. It is <br /> unlawful and a violation of this code to make a false statement <br /> or representation in any application, statement or report required <br /> by this code to be made . <br /> Chapter 46 . 04 <br /> Definitions <br /> Section 11: Statute adopted. The following statute is hereby <br /> adopted by reference. <br /> RCW 46 . 04 . 010 Scope and construction of terms . <br /> Section 11-A. 46 . 04 . 013 Abandoned automobile hulk. An abandoned <br /> automobile hulk shall mean the abandoned remnant or remains of a <br /> motor vehicle which is inoperative and cannot be made mechanically <br /> operative without the addition of vital parts or mechanisms <br /> and the application of a substantial amount of labor to effect repairs . <br /> Section 11-B. 46 . 04. 017 Abandoned vehicle. An "abandoned vehicle" <br /> shall mean any vehicle left within the limits of any highway or <br /> upon the property of another without the consent of the owner of <br /> such property for a period of seventy-two hours , or longer except <br /> that a vehicle shall not be considered abandoned if its owner or <br /> operator is unable to remove it from the place where it is located <br /> and so notifies law enforcement officials and requests assistance. <br /> Section 11-C. Statutes adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference. <br /> RCW 46 . 04 . 020 Alley <br /> RCW 46. 04 . 030 Arterial highway <br /> RCW 46 . 04 . 040 Authorized emergency vehicle <br /> RCW 46 . 04 050 Auto stage <br /> RCW 46 . 04 . 060 Axle <br /> RCW 46. 04. 071 Bicycle <br /> Section 11-D. 46 . 04. 072 Bus . Every motor vehicle designed for <br /> carrying more than 10 passengers and used for the transportation of <br /> persons ; and every motor vehicle, other than a taxicab, designed <br /> and used for the transportation of persons for compensation. <br /> Section 12. 46 . 04 . 073 Bus Zone. "Bus zone" means a designated <br /> portion of the street along the curb reserved for loading and <br /> unloading of buses which provide regular service within the City <br /> of Everett. <br /> Section 13 .
