2. Upon any street in 'any ,except manufacturing or <br /> industrial districts , so defined in the comprehensive zoning <br /> code of Everett, except while loading or unloading, if said <br /> vehicle is a truck and/or trailer, express or other conveyance <br /> which is over 80 inches wide; <br /> 3. Upon any street, if said vehicle is a trailer, <br /> unless the trailer is attached to a vehicle by which it may be <br /> propelled or drawn; Provided, that in case of accident such <br /> trailer may be moved to the side of the street for the period <br /> of time that is necessary to effect its removal if a good and <br /> sufficient red signal be displayed at both ends thereof during <br /> the hours of darkness , except that such trailer shall not remain <br /> upon any portion of a street for a period exceeding 24 hours , pending <br /> removal; <br /> 4. In any alley except while actually loading or <br /> unloading the same. Provided, that trucks , express vehicles <br /> or properly marked commercial vehicles may park in alleys for <br /> such time, not in excess of thirty (30) minutes , as may be <br /> necessary for the expeditious loading or unloading of such <br /> vehicles or the delivery or pickup of articles or materials . <br /> Provided further, that it shall be unlawful for any person to <br /> stop or park a vehicle in such alley in such a manner or under <br /> such conditions as to leave available less than ten (10) feet <br /> of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular <br /> traffic. <br /> 5. Upon any street, if said vehicle has been left in <br /> the care of the owner or operator of any parking lot or garage, <br /> or his agent: The provisions of this Section shall be applicable <br /> whether any consideration has been paid, directly or indirectly, <br /> by the person leaving a motor vehicle in the care or custody <br /> of such owner or operator, or his agent. <br /> 6. Upon any street for a period exceeding 72 hours . <br /> Any vehicle violating this section will be considered abandoned <br /> and will be subject to impounding as provided in Section 46 . 52 . 107; <br /> 7. Upon the paved portion of any street when the center <br /> of such street is unpaved and designed for parking, or on the <br /> paved portion when only one side is paved; or <br /> 8. At any place or time where official signs prohibit <br /> parking. <br /> (2) Parking or standing shall be permitted in the manner provided <br /> by law at all other places except a time limit may be imposed <br /> or parking restricted at other places . <br /> (3) No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his control <br /> into any such prohibited area or away from a curb such a <br /> distance as is unlawful. <br /> Section 225 46. 61. 571 Obedience to angle-parking signs or <br /> markings . Upon those streets which have been signed or marked <br /> for angle parking, no person shall park or stand a vehicle <br /> other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway <br /> indicated by such signs or markings . <br /> Section 226 46. 61. 573 Parking for certain purposes prohibited. <br /> No person shall park a vehicle upon any roadway for the purpose <br /> of: <br /> (1) Displaying such vehicle for sale or for advertising <br /> services for vehicles . <br /> C2) Washing, greasing, or repairing such vehicle except <br /> repairs necessitated by an emergency. <br /> -36- <br />
