No <br /> automobile or other motor driven vehicle shall be backed out of <br /> an alley, garage, service station, vacant lot, or other similar <br /> places into the streets in the central business district of <br /> the City of Everett. <br /> Section 242. Statutes adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference. <br /> RCW 46 . 61. 610 Riding on motorcycles . <br /> RCW 46 . 61. 611 Maximum height for handlebars . <br /> RCW 46 . 61. 612 Both feet not to be on same side. <br /> Section 243 . 46 . 61. 613 . Temporary suspension of restrictions <br /> for parades or public demonstrations . The provisions of RCW 46 . <br /> 37 . 530 and 46 . 61. 610 through 46 . 61. 612 may be temporarily suspended <br /> by the Chief of Police, or his designee, with respect to the <br /> operation of motorcycles within their respective jurisdictions <br /> in connection with a parade or public demonstration. <br /> Section 244 46 . 61. 614 Motorcycles on sidewalks pro- <br /> hibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to ride any <br /> motorcycle or other motor vehicle , upon or along any sidewalk <br /> or upon or along any foot path in any park within the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Section 245 . Statutes adopted. The following statutes <br /> are hereby adopted by reference . <br /> 46 . 61. 615 Obstructions to driver' s view or driving <br /> mechanism. <br /> 46 . 61. 620 Opening and closing vehicle doors <br /> 46 . 61. 625 Riding in trailers . <br /> 46 . 61. 630 Coasting prohibited. <br /> 46 . 61. 635 Following fire apparatus prohibited. <br /> 46 .61. 640 Crossing fire hose. <br /> 46 . 61. 645 Throwing or depositing glass , etc. , on <br /> highway prohibited--Removal. <br /> 46 .61. 650 Throwing or dropping glass or debris , etc. , <br /> upon or along highways , parks , beaches or <br /> waters--Penalty--Suspension of penalty <br /> conditioned upon removal of debris . <br /> 46 .61. 655 Permitting escape of load materials . <br /> 46 . 61. 660 Carrying persons or animals on outside part <br /> of vehicle. <br /> 46 . 61. 665 Embracing another while driving. <br /> 46 . 61. 670 Driving with wheels off roadway. <br /> 46 . 61. 675 Causing or permitting vehicle to be unlaw- <br /> fully operated. <br /> 46 . 61. 680 Lowering passenger motor vehicle below legal <br /> clearance--Penalty, <br /> 46 . 61. 685 Leaving children unattended in standing <br /> vehicle with motor running--Penalty. <br /> Section 245 A 46 . 61. 692 Use of coasters , roller skates and toy <br /> Vehicles . It shall be unlawful for any person upon roller skates , <br /> or riding in or by means of any coaster, toy vehicle or similar <br /> device, to go upon the roadway of any arterial highway or any <br /> street in the central business district, except while crossing <br /> such roadway at a crosswalk; or to engage in any sport, amuse- <br /> ment or exercise or play in the roadway of any street. <br /> Section 245 B 46 .61. 693 Dripping oil, etc. , on streets . No oil, <br /> gasoline or like fluid shall be spilled or allowed to drop from <br /> any vehicle on any paved street or public way in the City of Everett. <br /> If the spilling of oil, gasoline or like fluid creates a fire <br /> hazard, any peace officer or member of the fire department is <br /> authorized to provide for the removal of the vehicle , from which <br /> such oil, gasoline or like fluid is spilled or dropped, to a <br /> place of safety under the provisions of Section 46 . 52 . 107 . <br /> -39- <br />
