• <br /> Seaton 246 . 46. 61. 695 Attempting, aiding, abetting, coercing, <br /> `coz2-,tt:i_n9 Violations , punishable.` . Every person who commits , <br /> attempts to commit, conspires to commit, or aids or abets in the <br /> commission of any act declared' by this title to be a crime, <br /> whether individually or in connection with one or more other persons <br /> whether individually or in connection with one or more other persons <br /> or a principal, agent, or accessory, shall be guilty of such offense, <br /> and every person who falsely, fraudulently, forecully, or willfully <br /> induces , causes , coerces , requires, permits or directs others to <br /> violate any provisions of this title is likewise guilty of <br /> such offense. <br /> Section 246 A 46 . 61. 696 Vehicles not to be driven on sidewalk or <br /> parking strip. No person shall drive any vehicle on or across any <br /> curb, sidewalk, sidewalk area or parking strip except at a permanent <br /> or temporary driveway. For such temporary crossing the curb or side- <br /> walk shall be covered with two-inch planks not less than eight feet <br /> in length and the outside edges of the sidewalk or curb shall be <br /> protected with planks or timbers , so as to prevent contact with the <br /> sidewalk or curb. All such planks , timbers , and other obstructions <br /> shall be removed from the street, curb or sidewalk when and as soon <br /> as such crossing is not in actual use, and no planks or timbers or <br /> other obstructions shall be allowed to remain on the street, curb <br /> or sidewalk between the hours of sunset and sunrise. <br /> Section 247 . 46. 61. 697 Park rules and regulations . Whenever the <br /> Park Board of the City of Everett shall prescribe rules or regula- <br /> tions as to the use of any path or walk lying within the limits of <br /> any city park, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora- <br /> tion to violate any such rule or regulation : Provided, notice there- <br /> of shall be given to the public by the display of a reasonable sign. <br /> Section 248 46. 61. 698 Play streets . Whenever authorized signs are <br /> erected indicating any street or part thereof as a play street, no <br /> person shall drive a vehicle upon any such street or portion there- <br /> of except operators of vehicles having business or whose residences <br /> are within such closed area, and then any said operator shall exer- <br /> cise the greatest care in driving upon any such street or portion <br /> thereof. <br /> Section 248 A. 46. 61. 699 Unnecessary motor noise--Prohibited. It <br /> is unlawful for any person to "tune up" or "race" the engine of any <br /> motor vehicle on any street. The object of this provision is to <br /> prohibit loud or distressing noises . <br /> Section 249. Statute adopted. The following statute is hereby <br /> adopted by reference. <br /> RCW 46. 61. 700 Parent or guardian shall not authorize <br /> or permit violation by a child or ward. <br /> PARADES AND PROCESSIONS <br /> Section 250. 46. 61. 701 Short title. Sections 46 . 61. 701 through <br /> 46. 61. 745 shall be known and may be cited as the "Parade Ordinances <br /> of the City of Everett. " <br /> Section 251. 46. 61. 705 Exceptions . This "Parade Ordinance of the <br /> City of Everett" shall not apply to: <br /> A. Funeral processions except as hereinafter provided. <br /> B. Students going to and from school classes or partipating <br /> in educational activities, providing such conduct is <br /> under the immediate direction and supervision of the <br /> proper school authorities . <br /> C. A governmental agency including military units of the <br /> State of Washington and United States acting within <br /> the scope of its functions . <br /> Section 252 . 46. 61. 710 Permit required. No person shall engage <br /> in, participate in, aid, form or start any parade, unless a parade <br /> permit shall have been obtained from the city clerk. <br /> -40- <br />
