• North 68°02 ' East along the South right-of-way line of Diagonal Way, said line being the North plat line of Broadway Crest, to an intersection with the South line of an unnamed street in the Northeast corner of said Plat of Broadway Crest; thence following existing Everett City Limits line North 89°12 ' 20" East along the South line of said unnamed street a distance of 98 . 79 feet to the East line of the Plat of Broadway Crest; thence following the existing Everett City Limits Line Northerly along the Northerly projection of the Easterly plat line of the Plat of Broadway Crest 30 .0 feet to the North line of Section 24 , Township 28 North, Range 4 E.W.M. ; thence East following existing Everett City Limits line along the North line of said Section 24 and Section 19 , Township 28 North, Range 5 E.W.M. , to the westerly right-of-way line of 7th Avenue, the point of beginning. Section 2 : That upon annexation of the property herein above set forth, said property thereof annexed shall become a part of the City of Everett, a Municipal Corporation, and shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force . Upon annexation of the above described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property located within the City of Everett is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding idebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the date of this annexation. In addition, water rates in the said annexed area shall be subject to surcharge in an amount or Silver 'Lake Water District sufficient to reimburse the Mukilteo Water District/ for said A annexed areas share of the district 's existing obligations and to cover additional operating expenses of the City, if any, directly attributable to extension of service to the above described area.
