• <br /> together with interest thereon at the rate of (FOUR <br /> PERCENT (4%) ) (FOUR AND ONE-HALF PERCENT (4-1/2%) ) <br /> per annum, payable on January 1 , 1971, and semiannually <br /> thereafter on July 1 and January 1 of each year. Both <br /> principal of and interest on this bond are payable in <br /> such coin or currency which, on the respective dates <br /> of payment of such principal and interest, is legal <br /> tender for payment of debts due the United States of <br /> America solely out of the special fund of the City <br /> known as the "Everett Parking System Revenue Bond and <br /> Interest Sinking Fund Account" created by Ordinance No. <br /> of the City. <br /> During the time the Payee is the registered owner <br /> of this bond, payment of the principal and interest <br /> due shall be made to the Federal Reserve Bank of <br /> Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, or such other fiscal <br /> agent as the Payee shall designate (herein called <br /> the "Fiscal Agent") . During such time as the Alternate <br /> Payee is the registered owner hereof, such payments <br /> shall be made at the office of the City Treasurer, <br /> Everett, Washington, or, at the option of the Alternate <br /> Payee, at the main office of the fiscal agency of the <br /> State of Washington in the Borough of Manhattan, City <br /> and State of New York (herein called the "Alternate <br /> Paying Agent") . Payments of principal and interest, <br /> including prepayments of installments of principal as <br /> hereinafter provided, shall be noted on the Payment <br /> Record made a part of this bond, and if payment is <br /> made at the office of the Paying Agent or Alternate <br /> Paying Agent, written notice of the making of such <br /> notations shall be promptly sent to the City at the <br /> office of the City Treasurer in Everett, Washington, <br /> and such payment shall fully discharge the obligation <br /> of the City hereon to the extent of the payments so <br /> made . Upon final payment of principal and interest <br /> this bond shall be submitted to the City Treasurer of <br /> the City of Everett, Washington, for cancellation. <br /> This bond, designated as the "City of Everett <br /> Parking System Revenue Bond, Series ( ) , " (herein <br /> referred to as the "bond" ) , is issued in the aggregate <br /> principal amount of ($258 ,000 .00) ($262 ,000 . 00) pursuant <br /> to the laws of the State of Washington for the purpose <br /> of providing a part of the funds to carry out a <br /> comprehensive plan for the provision of off-street <br /> parking space and facilities for motor vehicles within <br /> the corporate limits of the City as specified and <br /> adopted by Ordinance No. 47-69 and ordered to be <br /> carried out by Ordinance No. 62-69 of the City. <br /> As provided in Ordinance No. of the City, <br /> this bond is exchangeable at the sole expense of the <br /> City at any time , upon ninety days' notice, at the <br /> request of the registered owner hereof and upon <br /> surrender of this bond to the City at the office of <br /> the City Treasurer in the City of Everett, Washington, <br /> for negotiable coupon bonds, payable to bearer, <br /> registrable at the option of the holder as to <br /> principal of the denomination of One Thousand Dollars <br /> ($1,000 . 00) and/or Five Thousand Dollars ($5 ,000 .00) <br /> each, in an aggregate principal amount equal to the <br /> unpaid principal amount of this bond, and in the form <br /> of such coupon bond as provided for in Ordinance No. <br /> -13- <br />
