• ORDINANCE NO. 0 () -7 (� AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 688, which has been created and established for the purpose of construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances from the existing manhole at 51st Street to 485 ft. South along the centerline of Elm Street, as provided by Ordinance No. 54-69, and levying and assessing the amount thereof against the several lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property shown on said roll. WHEREAS, the assessment roll levying the special assessments against properties located in Local Improvement District No. 688 in the City of Everett, Washington, created under Ordinance No. 54-69 has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Everett, Washington, as provided by law; and WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing thereon and of making objections and protests to said roll was duly published at and for the time and in the manner provided by law, fixing the time and place of hearing thereon for the 13th day of May, 1970, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock a. m. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Everett, Washington, and further notice thereof was duly mailed by the City Clerk to each property owner shown on said roll; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed and designated in said notice, the hearing was duly held and no written protests were received and no persons appeared to contest said roll at said hearing, and the City Council being fully advised in the premises, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: The assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 688, which has been created and established for the purpose of paying the cost of construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances from the existing manhole at 51st Street to 485 ft. South along the center line of Elm Street in the City of Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 54-69, including the provision for issuance of bonds therefor, as the same now stand, be and the same are hereby in all things and respects approved and confirmed. Section 2: Each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property shown upon the said roll is hereby determined and declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same and the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll.
