• <br /> ft <br /> j 4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 73 - 76 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known <br /> as Everett City Code 15.04. 040 , entitled; "An Ordinance regulating <br /> and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within <br /> the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing <br /> building line and size of yard and other open spaces ; providing for <br /> the division of the City into use zones; creating a Board of <br /> Adjustments; and providing for penalties for violation of the <br /> Ordinance. " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, after the <br /> hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has <br /> determined, contrary to the recommendation of the Planning Commission, <br /> that the areas hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned and <br /> such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land <br /> Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> after due consideration of the recommendation of the Planning <br /> Commission and being fully advised in the premises , does hereby <br /> find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best in- <br /> terests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive <br /> Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to provide for the changes <br /> as hereinafter set forth. <br /> SECTION 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 , also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15.04 .040 , is hereby amended as follows : <br /> Lots 21 to 26 inclusive <br /> Block 739, Everett Land <br /> Company ' s First Addition, <br /> be zoned as B-3, Central Business Zone. <br /> SECTION 3 : That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use <br /> and the zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be <br /> amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth <br /> said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the <br /> same is now established, as provided by Ordinance 3572 of the City of <br /> Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15 . 04 .040 , as amended. <br /> SECTION 4 : The City Clerk is hereby instructed to file the <br /> duly certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Auditor of <br /> Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> ?,,,f C _. _. <br /> Mayor <br /> Atteptx <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> Passed: 4- )- - 7O <br /> Valid: p 7 U <br /> Published: - j-- 2 d <br />
