_ E • <br /> . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 63 P ?_ <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing that a Journeyman Plumber <br /> may work within the City of Everett without paying <br /> a license fee upon the presentation of evidence that <br /> he holds a valid Certificate of Competency and <br /> valid Journeyman Plumber's License from a <br /> reciprocating municipality; amending Section <br /> 2. 16. 070 Everett City Code (Ordinance No. 3838, <br /> Section 7) and supplementing Part 2 of the <br /> Uniform Plumbing Code, 1961 edition (Ordinance <br /> No. 3838). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> That Section 2. 16. 070 Everett City Code (Ordinance No. <br /> 3838, Section 7) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Before any person shall engage in or labor at <br /> the trade of Journeyman Plumber he shall first <br /> procure a Journeyman Plumber's License and <br /> pay in advance to the City Treasurer the annual <br /> license fee as set forth in Section 2. 10 of this <br /> code; provided, however, a Journeyman Plumber <br /> possessing a valid Certificate of Competency and <br /> a valid Journeyman Plumber's License from a <br /> reciprocating municipality may, on entering the <br /> City of Everett to work, notify the Administrative <br /> authority and may work within the City without paying <br /> a license fee as set forth in this section. 'Reciprocating <br /> municipality, ' as used herein, shall mean any other <br /> municipality within the State of Washington giving <br /> an examira tion the scope and character of which <br /> is at least equal to that given by the local Board of <br /> Examiners. Notwithstanding the City's recognition <br /> of licenses from reciprocating municipalities, all <br /> Journeyman Plumbers whose employers have their <br /> primary place of business located in the City of <br /> Everett must obtain the license set forth in Section <br /> 2. 10 and 2. 13 of this ordinance. Revocation of a <br /> Journeyman Plumber's Certificate of Qualification <br /> pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 2. 11 of this code <br /> shall automatically cancel that person's Journeyman Plumber's <br /> License without refund in addition to other penalties provided.
