S -6 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and <br /> restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of <br /> Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building line and size <br /> of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into <br /> use zones; creating a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties <br /> for violation of the Ordinance. " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has <br /> determined that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned <br /> and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land <br /> Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby <br /> concur in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that <br /> the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of <br /> Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the <br /> City of Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> SECTION 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City Code <br /> 15. 04. 040, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest <br /> Quarter of Sec. 12, Twn. 28 North, Range 4 E. W.M. , <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest <br /> Quarter of said Sec. 12; thence South 89° 35' 32" East <br /> along the South line of said Northwest Quarter 1320. 96 <br /> feet to the true point of beginning; thence continue <br /> South 89° 35' 32" East along said South line 1320. 96 <br /> feet; thence North 0° 48' 34" East along the East line of <br /> said Northwest Quarter 1322. 96 feet; thence North <br /> 89° 31' 37" West 700 feet, more or less, to the southerly <br /> margin of the existing Haul Road; thence Southwesterly <br /> 680. 0 feet, more or less, along said margin to the West <br /> line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence South 0° 32' 27" <br /> East along the said West line to the True Point of Beginning, <br /> be zoned as R-3, Multiple Family Low Density Residence Zone. <br /> SECTION 3: That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use and <br /> the zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the <br /> City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall <br /> be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, <br /> as provided by Ordinance 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, as amended. <br />
