July 17, 2019 <br /> Appointment of Kathy Lynott to Position 8, for the remainder of a six-year <br /> term ending December 31, 2021 <br /> Appointment of Ben Breeden to Position 10, for the remainder of a six- <br /> year term ending December 31, 2022 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br /> Roberts and Moore who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Franklin spoke about the formation of the Mayor's Youth Advisory Board. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Vogeli commented on children's concerts at Thornton A. Sullivan <br /> Park. She spoke about a positive impact on a community around the new retail <br /> marijuana store and requested the full briefing regarding operation, revenue, and <br /> public safety concerns around all retail marijuana stores in Everett. <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, stated that the briefing will be provided in the next two <br /> weeks. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher provided a liaison report on her attendance at the <br /> Cultural Advisory Committee meeting at Denney Juvenile Justice Center. She also <br /> spoke about her meeting with Citlalli Zarate from the Delta Neighborhood. <br /> President Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the Puget Sound <br /> Regional Council (PSRC) Growth Management Policy Board meeting. He also <br /> announced that the final draft of Vision 2050 Plan is open for public comment and <br /> the workshop and open house for Vision 2050 is scheduled on July 29 at the <br /> Everett Station. <br /> 211 <br />
