THIS LEASE AGREEMENT (this "Lease") is made by and between CITY OF EVERETT (the "Landlord") and the <br /> HONORABLE HONORABLE MARIA CANTWELL, (the"Tenant") in her official capacity and in accordance with and <br /> subject to the statutory requirements set forth in 2 U.S.C.§6317, relating to Home State Office Space for United States <br /> Senators. It is hereby agreed as follows, and is dated as of the date on which this Lease has been fully executed by <br /> Landlord and Tenant. Landlord and Tenant may be collectively referred to herein as the "Parties" and each may be <br /> referred to individually as a"Party." <br /> 2. BASIC LEASE TERMS and DEFINITIONS: <br /> a. PREMISES: Approximately 306 useable square feet commonly known as Suite 9B situated in the <br /> Everett Municipal Building, and legally described as: <br /> All of Lots 18, 19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27 and Lot 28 EXCEPT Beginning <br /> at a point 2 inches South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 28,thence North <br /> to said Northeast corner; thence West along the North line of said Lot 28 to <br /> the Northwest corner thereof; thence South along the West line of said lot, 6 <br /> inches;thence Easterly in a straight line to the Point of Beginning;all in Block <br /> 683, Replat of Block 683, Plat of Everett, according to the plat thereof <br /> recorded in Volume 4 of Plats, page 49, records of the Auditor, of the County <br /> of Snohomish, State of Washington, <br /> together with rights of ingress and egress over common areas incorporated herein by <br /> this reference, which premises are in size and are referred to herein as the"Leased <br /> Premises". Said space does not include "joint use space" such as common <br /> cafeterias, conference rooms, snack bars,janitorial, mechanical or circulation areas <br /> as defined in 41 CFR 101-17.003-13. Further, Lessor agrees to provide Lessee <br /> parking in Section 2(i)of this Lease. <br /> b. BUILDING 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Everett,Washington (the"Building"). <br /> ADDRESS: <br /> c. TERM: Seventy-two (72) full calendar months. beginning January 3, 2019 and ending at <br /> midnight, January 2, 2025. <br /> d. COMMENCEMENT JANUARY 3, 2019 <br /> DATE: <br /> e. EXPIRATION DATE: JANUARY 2, 2025. <br /> f. RENT: Payable in level monthly installments as follows— <br /> MONTHS: 1-72 <br /> BASE RENT: $771.66 <br /> Base rent includes one parking stall, as described in Section 2(i)of this Lease. <br /> Following end of Lease term, any holdover period will be at the BASE RENT rate. <br /> Page Iof14 <br />
