Is_m EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> City of Everett Human Needs Grant <br /> January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 <br /> Exhibit B <br /> Terms, Conditions and Projected Budget <br /> Organization&Program: Work Force Development Center: Vocational Training&Aerospace Apprenticeship <br /> Program <br /> Will spend the funds received for the specific purposes of: <br /> WFDC's Vocational Training and Apprenticeship Program empowers An hour of 1:1 vocational aerospace assembly <br /> mechanic training <br /> disabled,economically disadvantaged and at-risk youth to complete high school and develop the knowledge,skills <br /> and motivation to become economically self-sufficient as they grow into adults. Students are referred to the program <br /> from three dozen partner schools throughout Snohomish County and the north Puget Sound region as part of their <br /> individualized education plans which are mandatory for students with diagnosed disabilities.The program teaches <br /> students both hard and soft skills necessary for success in the workplace and in life. Through our intensive training <br /> and job placement program,student trainees learn vocational skills in the manufacturing and aerospace fields,as <br /> well as employability skills and a solid work ethic,enabling them to secure living wage employment after high <br /> school graduation. <br /> For the purposes of this grant,a unit of service is defined as: <br /> An hour of 1:1 vocational aerospace assembly mechanic training <br /> Work Force Development Center: Vocational Training&Aerospace Apprenticeship Program anticipates this grant <br /> will fund a total of 4199 units of service for 11 (unduplicated count) Everett residents each per academic year <br /> (define period—month,quarter,etc.) <br /> Work Force Development Center: Vocational Training&Aerospace Apprenticeship Program anticipates its budget <br /> for the year 1/1/2019 through 12/31/2019,by quarters,will be: <br /> First Qtr.
