ORDINANCE NO. 23-69
<br /> AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett , Washington, amending
<br /> Ordinance No. 18-69 to provide for a May 1 , 1969 date
<br /> of issuance of $2 ,700 ,000 of sewer revenue bonds
<br /> of the city.
<br /> WHEREAS , Ordinance No. 18-69 provided for sale of $2 ,700 ,000
<br /> of sewer revenue bonds to be issued under date of April 1 , 1969 ; and
<br /> WHEREAS , it is now necessary that the date of such bonds
<br /> be established and fixed as May 1 , 1969 ;
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN :
<br /> Section 1 . That Section 3 of Ordinance No . 18-69 is hereby
<br /> amended in full to read hereafter as follows :
<br /> Section 3. That for the purpose of providing $2 ,700 ,000 to
<br /> pay part of the cost of acquiring, constructing and installing the
<br /> additions and improvements to and extensions of the sewerage system
<br /> of the city authorized by Ordinances No. 4193 , No . 4300 , No. 4313
<br /> and No. 4331 the city shall now issue and sell the Bonds . The total
<br /> estimated cost of such additions , improvements and extensions is
<br /> hereby declared to be , as near as may be , $3 ,965 ,000 • The balance
<br /> of such cost shall be paid out of available cash , federal grants and
<br /> earnings from the investment of Bond proceeds .
<br /> The Bonds shall be dated May 1 , 1969 , shall be in
<br /> denominations of $5 ,000 each and shall be numbered, mature and
<br /> bear interest payable October 1 , 1969 and semiannually thereafter
<br /> on the first days of April and October of each year thereafter
<br /> as follows :
