ORDINANCE NO. / 2 (� r AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building line and size of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties for violation of the Ordinance. " WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City of Everett. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby concur in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. SECTION 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, is hereby amended as follows: That portion of the NW4 SE+, of Section 18, T 28 N. , R 5 E. W. M. described as follows: Commencing at the center of said Section 18, the true point of beginning; thence 5 1° 43' 32" E along the North-South centerline of said Section 18 for 896. 65 feet; thence N 88° 30' 40" E for 262. 43 feet to the West line of Snohomish County P.U. D. No. 1 right-of-way; thence N 2° 15' 00" W along the West line of Snohomish County P. U.D. No. 1 right-of-way to the East-West centerline of said Section 18; thence West along said East-West center- line of said Section 18 to point of beginning. (Approx. 1119 Diagonal Way) be zoned as C-1 Genera] Commercial Zone. SECTION 3: That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use and the zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, as provided by Ordinance 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, as amended.
