ORDINANCE NO. / 2 (� r <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, <br /> as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and <br /> restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of <br /> Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building line and size <br /> of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into <br /> use zones; creating a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties <br /> for violation of the Ordinance. " <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has <br /> determined that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned <br /> and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land <br /> Use for the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby <br /> concur in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that <br /> the changes hereinafter set forth are for the best interests of the City of <br /> Everett, and do hereby amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the <br /> City of Everett to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> SECTION 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as Everett City Code <br /> 15. 04. 040, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> That portion of the NW4 SE+, of Section 18, T 28 N. , <br /> R 5 E. W. M. described as follows: Commencing at <br /> the center of said Section 18, the true point of beginning; <br /> thence 5 1° 43' 32" E along the North-South centerline <br /> of said Section 18 for 896. 65 feet; thence N 88° 30' 40" <br /> E for 262. 43 feet to the West line of Snohomish County <br /> P.U. D. No. 1 right-of-way; thence N 2° 15' 00" W <br /> along the West line of Snohomish County P. U.D. No. 1 <br /> right-of-way to the East-West centerline of said <br /> Section 18; thence West along said East-West center- <br /> line of said Section 18 to point of beginning. (Approx. <br /> 1119 Diagonal Way) <br /> be zoned as C-1 Genera] Commercial Zone. <br /> SECTION 3: That the official Comprehensive Plan of Land Use and <br /> the zone map shall, upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the <br /> City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall <br /> be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, <br /> as provided by Ordinance 3572 of the City of Everett, also known as <br /> Everett City Code 15. 04. 040, as amended. <br />
