It is in the best interest of the City to maximize public benefit through optimum parking <br /> garage utilization while ensuring that the municipal EVERPARK garage's on-going <br /> operating and renovation, repair and capital improvement expenses are covered by <br /> public parking fees. <br /> 11. Delegating the establishment and modification of public parking fees for the municipal <br /> EVERPARK garage will help to ensure that there is ready availability of parking spaces, <br /> and promote high occupancy of parking spaces. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1) The Everett City Council authorizes the administrative establishment and/or <br /> modification of all municipal EVERPARK garage public parking rates. <br /> 2) The Everett City Council authorizes the administrative establishment and/or <br /> modification of the use of performance based pricing to achieve optimum parking <br /> garage utilization and revenue generation to fund the municipal EVERPARK garage's on- <br /> going operating and renovation, repair and capital improvement expenses. <br /> 3) Resolution No. 4562 as amended is hereby repealed. <br /> Council Person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this day of , 2019. <br /> Council President <br /> ERESOLUTION Page 2 of 2 <br /> 5 <br />
