Eliminate any special business license(Title 5 of the EMC)requirement for food trucks by repealing chapter 5.84
EMC (Mobile Food Units).
2. Amending chapter 5.36 EMC(Hawkers,Peddlers, and Solicitors)to capture moving mobile food vendor since the
City is still interested in specially regulating mobile food vendors that actually move along the streets of the City
(e.g. ice cream trucks).
Things that will not change:
1. Food trucks will still need a general city business license, state UBI, and Snohomish Health District Permit.
2.
