The pipe material and installation will need to meet City Standards. It is the applicant's job to submit an application to the City showing that the plan for the work meets City standards.The permit fee will likely be about$45.00.This cost is only for the permit and inspections and does not include material or labor costs to do the work since that will be your responsibility.The email I sent you below on January 25th details everything else you would need to know to get the permit.You can access our City Standards by the following link: https://everettwa.gov/1531/Design-Construction- Standards . Chapter 4 of Volume 1 and 400 series drawings are associated with stormwater. As far as your neighbor's fence is concerned,the City does not have a surveying department,so we cannot help you there.You would need to contact a surveying consultant and ask them how much they would charge to survey your property line only if you hired them. If there is any issue between the location of your neighbor's fence and your property,that would be a civil dispute between you and your neighbor only.The City would not have involvement unless the fence was located in the right-of-way, not permitted, and not complying with codes. If your surveyor determines that the fence is in the right-of-way, a complaint can be made at that time for one of our inspectors to investigate.Any complaint should be made through our main line, not to me,at 425-257-8810, press option 8.
