ORDINANCE NO. 4341 AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property of the City of Everett, and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35 .13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property, and WHEREAS, the City of Everett did approve the filing of a petition for annexation and thereafter a petition pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 signed by owners of not less than seventy-five per cent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed was filed with the City of Everett, and WHEREAS, the Review Board provided by R.C,W. 35 .13 .171 has approved said annexation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 26th day of November, 1968, for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Sectinn 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. Section 2: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett upon the date of the passage and publication of this ordinance. That portion of the East half of Section 19, Twp. 28 North Range 5 East W.M. and that portion of the West half of Section 20, Twp. 28 North, Range 5 East W.M. described as follows: Beginning on the East line of the Nw 1/4 SE 1/4 of said Section 19 and the South R/W line of Stockshow Road (112th Street) ; thence Northeasterly along the Southerly R/W line Stockshow Road to Westerly line of Lot 1, Block 1, Plat of Silver Lake (Easterly R/W line Old Pacific Highway) ; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 1 produced Southerly and parallel with the section line common to said Sections 19 and 20 to intersect the Southerly line of shorelands of -the Second Class adjacent thereto; thence Westerly along the • Southerly line of shorelands of the Second Class to intersect with the Westerly line of the Plat of Ibberson Park produced Southerly; thence Northerly on the same bearing as the Westerly line of Ibberson Park to the Southerly line of Stockshow Road the point of beginning.
