'� i D <br /> 1. . <br /> 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF: <br /> 3 <br /> That portion of Section 18 T 28 N, R 5 EWM <br /> 4 I! described as follows: Beginning at a point on <br /> I the westerly r/w line of Broadway and the north <br /> 5!i line of said Sec. 18; thence SWly alg the westerly <br /> 6! r/w line of Broadway a distance of 42 .47 ft; <br /> I thence N 89°53 ' W a distance of 327.23 ft; thence <br /> 71 angle right 90° a distance of 40.0 ft. to the <br /> II North line of Sec. 18; thence easterly along the <br /> 8 north line of said Sec. 18 to the point of <br /> II beginning, <br /> 9 <br /> 101 and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> 11 � WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the <br /> private property abutting upon the streets and alleys above des- <br /> 12 cribed have duly filed a petition with the City Council of the City <br /> 13 of Everett praying for vacation of said streets and alleys; and, <br /> 14WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did <br /> ; <br /> by resolution duly adopted, fix the 15th day of November, 1968, at <br /> 15 9:00 a.m. of said day for the hearing and determination of said <br /> petition; and, <br /> 16 ; <br /> 17 WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of <br /> said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given <br /> 1811 by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and, <br /> 19 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, objec- <br /> tions to the vacating of the herin-described streets were heard and <br /> 20 discussed; and, <br /> 21 WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the <br /> 22 City of Everett that a portion of said streets and alleys peti- <br /> tioned <br /> to be vacated should be vacated, <br /> 23 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 24 <br /> SECTION 1: That the street and alley of the City of <br /> 251 Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as <br /> 26 ' follows, to wit: <br /> 27 , That portion of Sec. 18 T 28 N, R 5 EWM described <br /> as follows : Beginning at a point on the westerly <br /> 28 r/w line of Broadway and the north line of said <br /> Sec. 18; thence SWly alg the westerly r/w line of <br /> 29 ' Broadway a distance of 42 .47 ft; thence N 89° 53 ' W <br /> 30 a distance of 327.23 ft; thence angle right 90° a <br /> distance of 40.0 ft. to the North line of Sec. 18; <br /> 31 thence easterly along the north line of said <br /> Sec. 18 to the point of beginning, <br /> 32 <br />
