c 17 _ <br /> 1IORDINANCE NO. �� <br /> ', ' <br /> 2 <br /> 3 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br /> Everett, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett,, <br /> 4! also known as Everett City Code 15.04.040, entitled, "An Ordinance's <br /> regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and <br /> 5!i land within the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings;l <br /> prescribing building lines and size of yard and other open spaces;, <br /> providing for the division of the City into use zones; creating <br /> I <br /> a Board of Adjustments; and providing for penalties for violation <br /> of the Ordinance" ; and declaring an emergency to exist, <br /> 8 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br /> 9 <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> 10 Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use should <br /> be amended; that the areas hereinafter described should be rezone <br /> 11J, and such rezoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan <br /> of Land Use for the City of Everett, <br /> 12 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 13 <br /> SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of <br /> 141 Everett does hereby concur in the findings of the Planning Commis-4 <br /> 15 'j sion and does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth <br /> are for the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby <br /> 16I amend the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett <br /> to provide for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> 17 <br /> SECTION 2 : That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> 18 '� as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 , also known as <br /> 191 Everett City Code 15.04.040, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 201 The West 90 feet, less the South 18 feet of Lot 86, <br /> Forest Park Division "A" and the North 17.5 feet <br /> 211 of Lot 117 and all of Lots 118 and 119, Forest Park <br /> Division "A", <br /> 22 <br /> 231 be rezoned from R-1, Single Family Low Density Residence Zone to <br /> B-2, Community Shopping Zone; and <br /> 24 <br /> That portion of the SE4 of the SW4 and the 5W4 <br /> 251 of the SE4 of Section 18, T 28 N, R 5 EWM described <br /> as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the <br /> 26 ', south marginal line of Diagonal Way and the east <br /> 27 <br /> marginal line of 7th Ave. thence;southerly along <br /> the east marginal line of 7th Ave. for 417 .80 feet <br /> 28 ,I the T.P.O.B. thence; easterly parallel to the <br /> south line of said Section 18 to the centerline <br /> 29 of the Pacific Northwest Traction Company' s right- <br /> 30 of-way thence; southerly along the centerline of <br /> said right-of-way to the south line of said <br /> 31 <br /> Section 18-28-5 thence; westerly along the south <br /> 1 <br /> line of Section 18 to an intersection with the <br /> 32 east marginal line of 7th Ave. thence; northerly <br />
