Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> Architectural <br /> 1. On Sheet A1.1, the proposed cooler box appears to increase the fire area of the existing <br /> building. Previous records appear to indicate that the existing structure is a non- <br /> sprinkler'd, Type 5B structure with a B Occupancy. Per IBC 2015 506.2, the total area of <br /> proposed area and existing area appears to exceed the allowable area threshold of a non- <br /> sprinkler'd building. Please provide details indicating a proposed sprinkler system is to be <br /> installed or indicate via details an alternate means of providing fire separation between <br /> the two areas. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2015 <br /> International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 <br /> International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 <br /> Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted <br /> by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br /> "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1).
