• <br /> •! <br /> fl <br /> TLJ SHR <br /> ENGINEERINQ <br /> 1=1=0"11='ANIY <br /> Special Inspection <br /> FINAL SUMMARY REPORT <br /> May 13,2019 <br /> City of Everett <br /> Department of Permitting Services <br /> 3200 Cedar St. <br /> Everett,WA. 98201 <br /> RE: Project Name: Pidgeon Residence Foundation Repair <br /> TEC Project No. 19001.09 <br /> Permit No: B1904-019 <br /> Address: 615 58th Ave SE, Everett,WA <br /> Dear Department of Permitting Services, <br /> This letter serves to certify that in accordance with Chapter 17 of the International Building Code <br /> requirements outlines in the General Structural Notes of S-1.00 of the approved permit drawings,Tower <br /> Engineering Company has performed special inspection as detailed below. <br /> The inspector observed the installation of(5) FSI 288 push pier,verifying pier locations,installation depth, <br /> installation pressure, bracket type, pier type, pier diameter and thickness. To confirm pier capacity loads <br /> were observed following installation and the results were within approved allowances. Please see the <br /> attached field installation logs and load test data dated, 5/8/2019. Piers P1 thru P5 were installed per <br /> the intent of the design drawings and any installation deviations were reviewed and approved by this <br /> office with no outstanding non-compliance items. Piers P6 thru P8 were not installed, but rather were <br /> replaced by(4)Smart Jack supports due to condition of the non-bearing stem wall and that the wall above <br /> is supported by a spanning wood beam between pad footings. The change was reviewed and approved by <br /> this office. <br /> Our inspection and testing services do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of any type and were <br /> provided and intended to help reduce the risk of construction defects,deficiencies or omission that may <br /> arise during and after construction. It is the contractor's responsibility to perform their work in accordance <br /> with approved construction documents.
