1 • 4 •' 1• ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property to the City of Everett and declaring an emergency to exist. WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35 .13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain p operty, and WHEREAS, the City of Everett did approve the filing of a petition for annexation and thereafter a petition pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.13' signed by owners of not less than seventy-five per cent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed was filed with the City of Everett, and WHEREAS, the Review Board provided by R.C.W 35.13.171 has approved said annexation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 10th day of September, 1968, for hearing upon said petition, and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places! within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hea ing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the propety described in the petition as hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett That portion of Sec. 19, T28N, R5, EWM described as following: Begin- ning on the South r/w line of 100th St. (the existing city limits line) and the easterly r/w line of Interstate Highway No. 5; th easterly along said south r/w line to the easterly r/w line of 19th Ave. (old Pacific Highway) ; th southerly along the easterly r/w line of 19th Ave. to the southerly r/w line of 112 Ave. (Stock Show Road) ; th Westerly along the southerly r/w line of 112th Ave. to theasterly rJ'w line of Inte- state Highway No. 5; th southwesterly along the easterly r/w line of Interstate Highway No. 5 to the center section line of Sec . 19-28-5; th south along said center section line to the south line of said section; thence west along the south line of said section to the southwest corner of said section; th North along the west line of said section to the northerly r/w line of 112th St. (Stock Show Road) ; th easterly along the northerly r/w line of 117th St. to the center section line of said section; th north along said center section line to the southeast corner
