<br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF:

<br /> Washington Street from Jackson Avenue South
<br /> 5 to South Line of Plat of Pinehurst, Division

<br /> 7 WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the
<br /> private property abutting upon the streets and alleys above
<br /> 8 described have duly filed a petition with the City Council of
<br /> the City of Everett praying for vacation of said streets and
<br /> 9 alleys, and,
<br /> 10 WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did
<br /> by resolution duly adopted, fix the 24th day of May, 1968, at
<br /> 11 9:00 a.m. of said day for the hearing and determination of said '
<br /> petition, and,
<br /> 12
<br /> !I WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of
<br /> 13 . said hearing, and the determination of said petition has been
<br /> given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and,
<br /> 14
<br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing,
<br /> 15 objections to the vacating of the herein described streets and
<br /> alleys were heard and discussed, and,
<br /> 16
<br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the
<br /> 17 City of Everett that a portion of said streets and alleys
<br /> - petitioned to be vacated should be vacated,
<br /> 18
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:

<br /> SECTION 1: That the streets and alleys of the
<br /> 20 City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington,
<br /> described as follows, to wit:

<br /> Washington Street from Jaekson Avenue South to
<br /> 22 South Line of Plat of Pinehurst, Division "B",
<br /> 23 be, and the same is hereby vacated.
