• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to the care of trees and shrubbery <br /> in the City of Everett and the protection of the same <br /> from caterpillars, and providing penalties for violation <br /> thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That it shall be the duty of every person owning <br /> any premises in the City of Everett on which there shall be <br /> growing any fruit, shade or forest trees, or shrubbery of <br /> any kind, to keep the same free from caterpillars, and in <br /> the event it is found that any fruit, shade or forest trees <br /> or shrubbery has become infected with caterpillars, it shall <br /> be unlawfull for the owner of any such premises on which there <br /> shall be growing any such trees or shrubbery to fail or neglect <br /> to promptly take and use such methods as may be necessary to <br /> effectually destroy such caterpillars, or in lieu of, destroy <br /> such trees or shrubbery. <br /> Section 2: Any person found guilty of a violation of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be fined in any sum not <br /> to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) . <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> 4000 <br /> oepO1.yCity Clerk-Comptroller <br /> Passed: Ji) ""/ I q <br /> Published : (�� y ( �'� � <br />
