Services outside the city limits shall be <br /> 3 eligible and receive sprinkling rates where such service is provided through az <br /> 4 individual meter to single or multiple unit dwellings located on a premises I <br /> 5 containing less than three-fourths acre in total area. The premises shall have <br /> 6 jj a lawn normally requir=ing sprinkling during the summer months, but to be <br /> I <br /> 7 eligible for sprinkling rates, premises shall not have a permanent type swim- <br /> 8 I ming pool or other installation normally capable of utilizing an excessive amoufit <br /> d <br /> 9 of water. <br /> 10 (c) Determination. The water department shall determine those <br /> I <br /> 11 I services which shall be eligible for sprinkling rates. <br /> 12 (d) Computation. Sprinkling charges for June, July and August <br /> 11 <br /> 13 shall be computed as follows: After the first six hundred cubic feet at three <br /> II <br /> 14 dollars and fifty cents, all consumption over that amount shall be at the rate <br /> 15 of twenty cents per one hundred cubic feet and the amount so determined shall <br /> 16 I constitute the monthly billing for those months. <br /> 17 I (e) Use Confined to Premises. The use of water for sprinkling <br /> 18 (purposes shall be confined to the limits of the premises for which the applica- <br /> 19 tion for service was issued and water shall not be wasted by allowing it to <br /> 20 I flow for excessive periods nor run onto streets and gutters. <br /> 21 ' <br /> (f) Interference Prohibited. No sprinkling shall be done in a <br /> E <br /> 22 iimanner which will interfere with or inconvenience pedestrian or vehicular <br /> I, <br /> 23 traffic, <br /> 24 (g) Sprinkling Device Required. Water for sprinkling purposes <br /> i <br /> 25 Ion premises served by a fixed rate service shall be used only through a nozzle, <br /> 26 set or automatic sprinkler, soaker or other sprinkling device, but shall not be <br /> 27 I permitted to flow freely from the faucet or open hose. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Section 4.
