g3 <br /> 1 G. APPLICATION OF REGULATIONS. This Ordinance and all <br /> 2 rules and regulations governing the water system shall apply to all customers <br /> 3 outside the city limits. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 I Section 5. That Everett City Code Section 14. 16. 600 is hereby <br /> 6 amended to read as follows: <br /> 7 Construction water use for buildings. A. METERED. In the <br /> 8 case of water consumed during construction of a building or structure which, <br /> 9 upon completion, would be served through a metered connection, the amount <br /> 10 of water so consumed during construction shall be paid for by the contractor <br /> 11 or owner at the applicable metered rate. If a metered service is not installed <br /> 12 to the premises during the initial stage of construction, the amount of water <br /> 13 consumed between the commencement of construction and the installation and <br /> 14 turn on of the metered service shall be estimated by the superintendent and the <br /> 15 charge added to the cost for installation of the service connection, or added to <br /> 16 a subsequent water billing to the premises. <br /> 17 B. FIXED RATE. In the case of water consumed during con- <br /> 18 struction of a residence which, upon completion, would be eligible for a fixed <br /> 19 rate service, there shall be no charge other than the fixed rate charge, pro- <br /> 20 vided the service connection is installed and turned on during the initial stage <br /> 21 of construction. <br /> 22 Section 6. That Everett City Code Section 14. 16. 720 is hereby <br /> 23 I amended to read as follows: <br /> 24 Rates and charges. The monthly water rates and charges together <br /> 25 with monthly minimum charges, special charges and penalties prevailing <br /> 26 throughout the water system shall be as follows: <br /> 27 A. Within the city limits. <br /> 28 (1) Fixed rate <br /> $4 00 per unit <br /> 29 (2) Metered rate: <br /> 304. Consumption charge: <br /> 31 First 600 cubic feet $3 50 <br /> Next 1, 400 cubic feet . . . . 35 per 100 cubic feet <br /> 32 Next 4, 000 cubic feet . • , , . 30 per 100 cubic feet <br /> 5.- <br />
