Appendix A <br /> Subsurface Exploration <br /> ES-5168 <br /> The subsurface conditions at the site were explored by excavating four test pits at the <br /> approximate locations illustrated on Plate 2 of this report. The test pits were advanced to a <br /> maximum depth of nine feet below existing grades. The test pit logs are provided in this <br /> Appendix. The subsurface exploration was completed on March 29, 2017. <br /> Logs of the test pits excavated by ESNW are presented in Appendix A. The final logs represent <br /> the interpretations of the field logs and the results of laboratory analyses. The stratification <br /> lines on the logs represent the approximate boundaries between soil types. In actuality, the <br /> transitions may be more gradual. <br /> Earth Solutions NW,LLC <br />
