August 7, 2019 <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1907-34 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to Mobile Food Unit Licensing, repealing Chapter 21 of <br /> Ordinance No. 295-74, as amended (Chapter 5.84 EMC) and amending Chapter 9 <br /> of Ordinance No. 295-74, as amended (Chapter 5.36 EMC) <br /> Dan Eernissee, Economic Development, provided a brief overview of the proposed <br /> ordinance and information on possible no-congestion zone alternatives. <br /> Considerable discussion ensued. <br /> Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Stonecipher, <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. 1907-34. <br /> City Attorney Hall provided clarification on the motion regarding the preferred <br /> alternative. <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member Moore, to <br /> approve Council Bill No. 1907-34, and direct staff to implement the Alternative <br /> 1 No-congestion Zone. <br /> The following individuals spoke in support of the proposed ordinance: <br /> Christina Strand, Everett <br /> Nate Feaster, Everett <br /> Ryan Anderson, Everett <br /> Joseph Erikson, Everett <br /> Lori Johnson, Washington Food Truck Association <br /> Jim Staniford, Everett, spoke in opposition to the proposed ordinance. <br /> 238 <br />
