<br /> 2 H! AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF:

<br /> That portion of McDougal Avenue lying south
<br /> 4 lE of California Street and north of Northern
<br /> Pacific Railway and the Great Northern
<br /> Railway rights of way, and lying between
<br /> Blocks 661 and 662 Plat of Everett,

<br /> 7 WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of
<br /> the private property abutting upon the streets and alleys above
<br /> 8 described have duly filed a petition with the City Council of
<br /> the City of Everett praying for vacation of said streets and
<br /> 9 alleys, and,
<br /> 10 1! WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of
<br /> (' Everett did by resolution duly adopted, fix the 28th day of
<br /> 11 i February, 1966, at 9:00 a.m. of said day for the hearing and
<br /> determination of said petition, and,
<br /> 12 iiWHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and
<br /> 13 place of said hearing and the determination of said petition
<br /> has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by
<br /> 14 law, and,
<br /> 15 ii WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed. for hearing
<br /> objections to the vacating of the herein described streets were
<br /> 16 ! heard and discussed, and,
<br /> 17 WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of
<br /> -the City of Everett that a portion of said streets and alleys
<br /> 18 i{ petitioned to be vacated should be vacated,
<br /> •
<br /> 19 f NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> 20 i SECTION 1: That the street and alley of the
<br /> City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington,
<br /> 21
<br /> described as follows, to wit :
<br /> That portion of McDougal Avenue lying south
<br /> 22 of California Street and north of Northern Pacific]
