• ORDINANCE NO. 4263 AN ORDINANCE fixing and determining the number, designation, and compensation of the various officers, assistants, deputies, and employees of the City of Everett; prescribing their duties; providing for medical services repealing Ordinance No. 4191 of the City of Everett and repealing Chapter 1. 16 and 1.24, City Code of the City of Everett, and establishing code numbers ; and declaring an emergency to exist and providing that said ordinance shall take effect January 1, 196 , NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That beginning January 1, 1968, the number, designation and compensation and duties of the officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the City of Everett shall be as in this ordinance, provided, except as otherwise fixed by charter. (1. 16.010) Section 2: CITY ATTORNEY DEPARTMENT - The number, designation and compensation of employees in the City Attorney's Department shall be as hereinafter set forth. It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies and assistants to perform the duties pertaining to the office and as directed by the City Clerk- Comptroller or the Commissioner of Finance.
