• a <br /> r- <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 4254 <br /> VI \in AN ORDINANCE amending Everett City Code Section 15.04. 190, dealing <br /> rwith zoning and parking requirements. <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, pursuant to <br /> C4 public hearing, has determined that it is for the best interests of the City <br /> of Everett and in harmony with the comprehensive plan of land use for the City <br /> of Everett that Everett City Code Section 15.04. 190 be amended, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Everett does hereby concur <br /> in the findings of the Planning Commission, and does hereby find that an <br /> amendment of Everett City Code Section 15.04. 190 is for the best interests of <br /> the City of Everett, and in harmony with the comprehensive plan for the land <br /> use of the City of Everett. <br /> SECTION 2 : That Everett City Code Section 15.04.190 is hereby amended <br /> to read as follows : <br /> 15.04. 190 Off-Street Parking and Loading Requirements. <br /> A. REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING: <br /> Every building hereafter erected, and every building hereafter <br /> reconstructed or structurally altered, unless there be existing <br /> written contractual obligations made prior to the adoption of <br /> this ordinance, shall be provided with permanently maintained <br /> parking space as provided in this section, and such parking space <br /> shall be made permanently available and be permanently maintained <br /> for parking purposes. <br /> B. PARKING SPACES REQUIRED: <br /> The number of off-street parking spaces required shall be no less <br /> than as set forth in the following: <br /> Use Parking Spaces Required <br /> Automobile Courts (Motels) 1 for each sleeping unit <br /> or dwelling unit <br /> Banks, business or professional 1 for each 400 square <br /> offices feet of gross floor area <br /> Bowling Alleys 4 for each alley <br /> Churches 1 for each 5 seats <br /> Dance halls, skating rinks 1 for each 100 square <br /> and other commercial- feet of gross floor <br /> recreation establishments area <br /> Dwellings, residential, single <br /> family & duplex 2 for each residence 1-1/2 spaces <br /> Dwellings, Multiple family for each unit containing two <br /> bedrooms or less ; 2 spaces for <br /> each unit containing three <br /> bedrooms or more <br /> OFFICIAL RECORDS <br /> Iva 20b PAGE <br />
