1.7.• <br /> EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3696-19 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge" <br /> Fund 303, Program 103, and repealing Ordinance No. 3556-17 <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City of Everett is committed to a planned public amenities and parks improvement program; <br /> and <br /> B. The City of Everett has identified the need and received approval for the utilization of Federal <br /> funds to design and construct a pedestrian bridge from Grand Avenue Park to Everett waterfront; <br /> and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 103, entitled <br /> "Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge"to accumulate all costs for the project and repealing Ordinance <br /> No. 3556-17 . <br /> Section 2. Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 103, for all expenses of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3. Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director", under direction of the <br /> Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4. The sum of$5,856,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 103, "Grand Avenue <br /> Park Pedestrian Bridge" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $ 5,856,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 5,856,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> Federal Grant $ 2,516,000 <br />
