EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3702-19 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, "Casino Road &5th Avenue W <br /> Pedestrian Safety Improvements" Fund 303, Program 117,to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City of Everett is committed to a planned pedestrian safety program; and <br /> B. The City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain pedestrian <br /> safety improvements; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 117, entitled <br /> "Casino Road & 5th Avenue W Pedestrian Safety Improvements" to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement. <br /> Section 2. Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 117, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3. Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" or"City Engineer," under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4. The sum of$760,400 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 117, "Casino Road &5th <br /> Avenue W Pedestrian Safety Improvements" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $1,126,700 <br /> Total Estimated Cost S 1,126,700 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> City Safety—Federal Funds $ 976,700 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 150,000 <br />
