<br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following
<br /> described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County
<br /> of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit:
<br /> That portion of the alley situated in Block 716,
<br /> Plat of Everett, abutting on Lots 1 to 8 and 24
<br /> to 31, inclusive, situated in Snohomish County,
<br /> Washington.
<br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private
<br /> property abutting upon the portion of street and alley above des-
<br /> cribed have duly filed their petition with the City Council of
<br /> Zverett praying for the days after its passage, approval vacation
<br /> of said portion of street and alley, and
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did, by
<br /> resolution duly adopted, fix the 11th day of March, 1965 at 10:00
<br /> A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of the said
<br /> petition, and
<br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of
<br /> said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by
<br /> the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and
<br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, objections
<br /> to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and alley
<br /> ;were heard and discussed, and
<br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said
<br /> petition should be granted and said City Council does hereby deter-
<br /> mine to vacate the above described portion of said street and alley,
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That the portion of street and alley in the
<br /> City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, des-
<br /> cribed as follows, to-wit:
<br /> That portion of the alley situated in Block 716,
<br /> Plat of Everett, abutting on Lots 1 to 8 and 24
<br /> to 31, inclusive, situated in Snohomish C ounty,
<br /> Washington,
<br /> be, and the same is hereby vacated and the title to said portion of
<br /> street and alley above described is hereby declared vested in the
<br /> abutting property owners as provided by law.
