ORDINANCE NO. 3984• <br /> AN ORDINANCE declaring an emergency to exist in allocat- <br /> ing $3,830.00 from the General Current Expense Fund to the Park <br /> Department . <br /> WHEREAS, it could not have been reasonably ascertained <br /> at the time of the making of the budget for the year 1963 that <br /> additional labor would be required in the Park Department, and <br /> WHEREAS, the termination of employee's benefits in the <br /> budget for the Park Department for the year 1963 did not in- <br /> elude sufficient funds for the payment of employee 's benefits, <br /> to-wit, Social Security, pensions and industrial insurance premiums, <br /> and it is necessary that additional funds be appropriated to <br /> cover such expenses . <br /> • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and the sum of $3,830.00 is hereby allocated from the General <br /> Current Expense Fund of the City of Everett to the Park Depart- l <br /> ment, to be expended as follows : <br /> $1, 600.00 - Salaries and Wages <br /> $2,230.00 - Employees Benefits, Social Security, etc . <br /> Section 2: That the sums herein appropriated shall be ' <br /> paid by the issuance of warrants drawn on such funds by the <br /> officials of the City of Everett as provided by law, and charged <br /> to the Park Department. <br /> l / // <br /> MAYOR <br /> • <br /> • <br /> Attest: <br /> • ,- <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
