917 <br /> The regular Administrative eeasion of the <br /> City Council was held January 4,1911,at 10:30 A.Y. <br /> with Mayor Clay in the Chair and COmmleelonera Clay, <br /> Kelly and Merrill present at roll call. <br /> On motion minutes approved as of record. <br /> Proposed by Mayor Clay that Council Pro- <br /> ceed to orgainke and that an Informal vote be taken <br /> for Mayor.Accordingly an Informal vote wee taken <br /> with the result that Clay received one vote dna <br /> Merrul twm. <br /> Moved by Clay,seconded by Kelly that the <br /> informal vote for Mayor and President of the Council <br /> be declared the formal vote and that D.D.Merrill <br /> be and is hereby elected Mayor. <br /> Carried unanlmouely <br /> Chair was surrendered to Mayor Merrill and <br /> election of officialo was then proceeded with. <br /> An Informal ballot was talon for City Clerk i <br /> with the result that all votes were cast for Louie <br /> Leen. <br /> Moved by Merrill,seconded by Clay that the <br /> informal ballot be declared formal and that Louis- <br /> Leah be elected City Clerk. <br /> Carried unanimously <br /> An Informal ballot was taken for City Treats. <br /> with the result that W.A.L.Ford received two votes <br /> and Jennie Lille one. <br /> Moved by Clay,seconded by Kelly that the <br /> informal ballot➢ de foreral end that V.A.L.Pord <br /> ➢e elected City Treasurer. <br /> Carried unanimdt <br />
