The regular Administrative Seeeion of the <br />• <br />• <br /> City Council Was held April 39th,1932,at 10:30 A.M.with Mayor Clay <br /> in the Chair,and Commie...ere Turner and Williams present at roll. <br /> ell. <br /> On motion mint eo approved ae of record. <br /> Moved by Clay,seconded by Williams that the <br /> D111 of J.R.Gilson inthe sum of$51.38 is hereby allowed and ordered <br /> paid. <br /> Carried Unanimously. <br /> Resolution No.291e—by Clay. <br /> WHEREAS,the Lion's Club of the city hae'Snn— <br /> Stiated a movement for the purpose of SnnlLiat Sng a'Day Light Saving <br /> Plan",similar to the one in vogue during the war,and <br /> WHEREAS,various Other organisations of the <br /> city have joined the Lions Club in this movement,and <br /> WHEREAS,it is the belief of the members of <br /> the City Council that a daylight saving plea Tillinnure to the benefit <br /> of the people of.he city in giving more time for needed recreation, ail <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVES,by the City <br /> Council in regular session assembled,that a daylight saving plan be <br /> recommended and for such purpose it is requested that business hours <br /> open and close one hour earlier than standard time during the summer <br /> months of MayitSune,July,August and September, but that in order <br /> is mkold confusion 1n travel and in Coerce,the clocks of the city <br /> remain as fined by sttandart time. <br /> DONE IN OPEN COUNCIL THIS 29th day of April, <br /> 1933. <br /> Carried unanlmouely. <br /> 20'4otdnn Council adjourned at 11:15 A.M. <br /> Louie Leah,City Clerk. <br />
