119 <br /> 120 <br /> MAY 17th,1934. <br />.l_o.:li The Regular Administrative Session of the City Council was held on <br /> :ay 17th,1934,9-A.M.,Mawr Edwards in the Chair,Commieeionere Coetello and <br /> tri aeon present at roll call. <br /> liinutee of May 16th,1934 read end approved me of record. <br /> Committee from the Protective Aneociation of the Blind appeared before <br /> the City Council requesting the adoption of An Ordinance reserving to them the ex- <br /> clusive right to carry white canes. <br /> moved by Erieom,seconded.by Costello,that.Resolution Ho.3852 be <br /> adopted as follows: <br /> • RESOLUTION Hc.3852. <br /> WHEREAS there has been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Everett,) <br /> apetition addressed to the City Council of said City,asking for the vacation of <br /> the described portion of a street in the said City: <br /> "Thompson Avenue,from Columbia Avenue to Maryland Avenue",and, <br />_L.. <br /> WHEREAS,said petition wee signeby ownere of more than two-thirds f the pri- <br /> rate property abutting upon above described portion of a <br /> street sought to be <br /> vacated,now;therefore, <br /> EE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF EVEneTT: <br /> 1. That the 20th day of dune,1934,at 30-3C A.M.,in the Council Chamber of the <br /> City Hall in the City of Everett,be and the same hereby Is,fixed ae the time and <br /> place where amid petition shall be heard and determined,and, <br /> 2.
