The h.ly declared Jesse 0.1111,&pplllted ee Eii, Attorney,to take office Behruary 1,1936,.J.Y.Kennedy,present City AttorneY, to hold office until Mr.Davis qualifies,Feb.1,1936. - _ Nominations for City Treasurer were declared in ordeo. Moved by Spencer,seconded by Williams that the present arrange- ment combining Wiley Superintendent and City Engineer offices will be nontinued - until he hae had time to study departments involved,and.appointment of CitY Engineer be laid over temporarily. Carried unanimously. -- Mayor Edwards called the attention of the Council to the fact that the bond of City Treasurer,Frank Turner,runs out today.Jan.4,1936,and also that the new appointed.Treasurer cannot qualify,ao his bond has not been deposited with the Clerk and he is not ready to take office. mntioa by Speneer,seconded by Williams,to instruct City Clerk to find out whether the bonding cnrep.Y ho1ding Mr.Turner's bodd c.continue ihe bond to cover the peoiod from Jan.4,1936,until his succeescr qualifies,end if
