32 32 FEBRUARY Oth,1937, The Regular Administrative Session of the City Council was held on February 5th,1937,at 10 em,Mayor Edwards 1n the Chair,Commieeionere Spencer and W.11ieme present at roll call. _i.r Minutes of&abruary 4th,1937,read and approved ea of record. Moved by Spencer,seconded by Williams that Resolution No.41901 be adopted as follows: " R8OLTTTION NO.4190*. M18AEA,the bid of the Western Pipe end Steel Company of California on contract No.2 of the Sultan River Pipe Line,P.W.A Project Wash.140253,was based on water shipment,and WHEREAS,in order to expedite the starting of this contract the City 0000001 deems it necessary to authorize the shipment of part of the material by rail,now,therefore, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council hereby authorizes an additional lump sum of$5,500.00 to be paid the contractor, for chipning all steel plate by rail from eastern mills required hie OrderoFor steer lmmed1etelypravldded Lbubetantlaterit detallCe this additional Cost,all subjecttothe approval of P.N.A." Carried unanimously. Moved by Edwerda,seconded by Spencer,that the Connell invite Congressmen Mon C.'Nall2ren to represent the City at the National Rivera and Harbors Congress on April 23,24,1937,end the City Clerk be hereby instructed to Bend to Jack Nichols,Vice-Pres.of the Congress for questionalre forme re projeots. Carried unanimously. Moved by Spencer,seconded ty W1111pme that the clsim of A.J.Moose.for$21.88 refund for expenses on hie sewer be rejected. Carried unanimously.
