NOW,THEREFORE,HE IT RESOLVED,that for the purposes of accomPliShing said purpose and of aiding the said Adminiatrator in hin efforts to make the aforementioned development the City shall enter into a contract with '' ''' "the Administrator in the following form: AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT,made and entered into this 9th day of October,1941,by and between the United-NHates Of America,hereinafter Celled the Govern- ( ment,and Everett,a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, hereinafter called the City;WITNESSETH) • THAT WHEREAS,pursuant to Public 849,76th congress-The Lanham Act,the Administrator of the Federal works Agency,hereinafter called the ADMINISTRATOR,proposes to develop and administer a housing development within the City for persons engaged 10 00100191 defense activities,and cell development to include Eighty-five(85)units and is known as Development No.Wash.45071-00 and WHEREAS,the City is willing to extend its sewer system to toe bound, of the development above mentioned and permit the Administrator to connect the sevmr system of the housing development to Mae proposed extension of the sewer eystem of the City,and WHEREAS,in contemplation of the foregoing the City hes created a local improvement district and provided for the aforementioned sewer extension, all in accordance with Reeolutien No.4734 of the Coonoil of the CitY and Ordinance No.2924,being Local Improvement District No.555. NOW,THEREFORE,it is mutually covenanted and agreed ew follow" Section 1: The City hereby agrees to extend a twelve ineh sewer line to the Norteast corner of the above mentioned development at a designat-, ed point at or near State Road No 1,(commonly referred to as the Pacific Highway),all in accordance with the aforementioned Resolution end 00010- code of the City and the plans and specifioations of-the City Engineer, and upon completion of said sewer connection the City does hereby grant authority and permission to the Administrator to make a connection to such sexmr at said point. Section 2( The City agrees to complete the aforementioned sewer line extension to the above mentioned point in such a manner as to Permit the Administrator to make the oonneotion and.to use the sewer by Tenuary 10th, 1942.
