Minutes of October 9th,1941 read and approved. -- Moved by Spencer,seconded by Edwarde,to accept Easement granted by Everett Improvement Company,a corporation,for,strip of lend deeigneted in Easement for the right in perpetuity to construct,lay,maintain,repair end operate a trunk sewer and its appurtenance°in Everett. Carried Unanimousely --- Moved by Spencer,seconded by Edwards,to adopt Resolution No.4770 as "Resolution No.4770 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF CERTAIN PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF ,TAXES FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE EEDERAL WORE.AGENCY,APPROVING A FOEM OF CONTRACT WITH THE FEDERAL WORKS ADMINISTRATORITIE RESPECT THERE. TO,and AUTHORIZING THEE ERECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT. • WHEREAS,the Administrator of the Federal Works Agency(hereinafter . referred to as the^Administrator")is authorized and proposes to develops and admin- ister a housing development(herein celled the"Develoyment")within the territorial limits of Everett,a municipal corporation,(herein called the"City")and said Development known as Development No.Wash.45071-0,will include approximately 85 dwelling units;and - is necessary to the public health,safety and welfare of the City thatliving aciaXdations be provided for persons engaged in national defense activities;and WHEREAS,the City will directly benefit from the construction of new safe and sanitary dwellings for such persons and their families, NOD,THEREFORE,EE IT RESOLVED HY THE COUNCIL Sr TEE C/TY OF EVERETT: Section 1: That Vas City hereby determines that,for the purpose of aiding enid Administrator in hie efforts to develops.a housing development is the City,the City shall cooperate with the Administrator by furnishing municipal eery- --- ices end facilities for the development in consideration of the Payment of certain sums by the Administrator to the City in lieu of taxes,all as more fully proVided in-the form of agreement hereinafter set forth.
