AUGUST 28th,1947. TOO Regular Administrative 4ession of the City Counc al was held at long, August 28th,1947,Mayor Arenas presiding,Commissioners Umzelman and Johnson present at roll call. Minutes of August 27th,1947 reed and approved. Moved by Hamelm50,seconded by Johnson,to adopt Resolution No.5241 as .follows: "RESOLUTION No.5241. '.. certain money has been collected for the purpose of erect- ing a Bend shell Cunder ity tSveretpices goingf anderlthe name edof group ocitizenf Music Bowl,"anfl 0009WHEREAS,it is the lassie of such group,bandut also the desire to other contribute such wmoneyvt not as yet contributed to t food,to by thepit sooh mercy to the City of Everett as a gift,to be held to erect iayof Everett 0600 Shell,or to other suitable musilater used c ceenterty�Everett WHIRFAS it is the densis of said parties that Said money be given to the city of Everett,to be held 1n trust for said proposes above mentioned,and to be administered by the Finance Commissioner of the City of nverett and the Treasurer of the City of Everett,in their official capacities as officers of the City of Everett,for said purposes mentioned. NOW,THEREFORE,NE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THY CITY OF EVERETT.. That the City of Everett does hereby consent to 500500 the gift above descrbed,and from the oltlze00 of the City of Everett,to be held 1n trust for the purpose of erecting a band shell,or other suitable musc center. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that said mosey accepted by the City of Everett in trust be held sod administered by the Finance Commissioner of the City of Everett and the Treasurer of tOe City of Everett,in their official capacities as officers of the City of Everett,in trust for the purposes above mentioned,and to be used for no other purposes whatsoever.
