<br /> 7:00 p.m.,May 20,1974,in the Legion Park Golf Club House,President ,
<br /> Aldcroft presiding. Upon roll call it was found that all Councilmen
<br /> were present,except Councilman Gipson,who was excused.

<br /> Gordon Hey,Finance Director,reported to the Council that$648,365 in
<br /> Revenue Sharing Funds had been spent in 1973. Collected to date was -.
<br /> $2,510,900. They expected to receive$4,365,000 up until January 1977.

<br /> As requested by the Council,Mr.Hey said his recommendation for payment , ,,,
<br /> of the Service Center would be by a fifty-fifty split with$750 000 of Rev-

<br /> enue Sharing Funds being used and Councilmatic bonds or other financing be , . ,
<br /> established for the other$750,000. He recommended a rental schedule by , ,
<br /> established for all user departments in the Service Center which would pay ,.
<br /> for the Center,including bond redemption and maintenance and operation of I''`.:
<br /> the Center.
<br /> Councilman Michelson suggest.that the monies received from Revenue
<br /> Sharing should go into the General Fund and then spent as the Council
<br /> saw fit and saw the need for it. Councilman Ebert said however the money Y
<br /> is allocated,she would hope it would be allocated to a project that
<br /> could be self funding in the future,so th.c the City wouldn't be tied
<br /> down to expenses in years to come when the Revenue Sharing monies were
<br /> completed.
<br /> Moved by Councilman Kinch,seconded by Councilman Michelson to adopt the
<br /> recommendation of the Finance Department,regarding funding of the Service
<br /> Center with$750,000 to 00000a from Revenue Sharing and$750,000 in
<br /> Councilmatic bonds or other financing.
