283 <br /> September 17,1975 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 8(30 a.m.in the Conference Room with Council President Finch presiding <br /> and all councilmen in attendance. <br /> COUNCIL HILL NO.406-75 <br /> Celia Strong stated that the Washington State legisleition passed,early <br /> in 1974,requiring the cities to adopt an ordinance establishing regu- <br /> lations and procedures to control the subdivision of four or less parcels <br /> of land. <br /> Mrs.Strong stated that the public hearing was held on February 24,1975, <br /> and from the input received,staff was able to reanalFse much of the <br /> language of the draft ordinance. Subsequently,the public meeting was <br /> held on May 1 to weigh objections to and merits of the second draft of 1 <br /> the proposed ordinance. The May 1 meeting led to the placement of tbe <br /> reasons surrounding the development of the Short Subdivision Ordinance 1 <br /> into introduction(whereas)portion of the ordinance and 08reanalysis <br /> and redefining of the staff. 1 <br /> (( <br /> Mrs.Strong said the third draft of the ordinance was submitted to the <br /> developers for recommendation and comment and on July 25 public hearing <br /> was held on the dxaft.
