313 <br /> BUDGET HEARING,OCTOBER 22,1975 <br /> The Regular Budget Hearing was called to Order at 9:00 a.m.in the Council <br /> Chambers of the Everett City Hall on October 22,1975 with Budget Committee <br /> Chairman Ebert presiding. Upon roll call it was found that all Councilmen • <br /> were in attendance except Councilman Rucker who was excused. <br /> Councilman Ebert report.that all Budget Hearings will be held on Tuesday <br /> mornings from 9:00 a.m.through noon,on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 <br /> until 5:00 p.m.and on Thursday evenings from 4:00 until 10:00 p.m.begin- <br /> ning Wednesday,October 29th,1975. <br /> REVENUES <br /> Mike Wenzlick,City Treasurer,again reviewed the revenues for 1976. He said <br /> that there would be virtually no inoreases in any revenues. The total pro- <br /> • <br /> perry tax allocation for 1976 228$3,972,135.00. He briefly reviewed where <br /> • <br /> these monies would be allocated throughout the various funds. <br /> He explained the only increase in any of eh.taxes presented to the Council <br /> today were in the gambling taxes. .The Administration was'recommending..thet •, <br /> • <br /> all of the gambling 50122 16 121823 22 the maximum allowed by state law.•This <br /> would mean that the pull tab a.punch board tax would go up to five percent, <br /> bingo and raffles would go up to ten percent and the card rooms would be taxed <br /> at twenty percent.
