Upon roll call it was found that . <br /> mayor Moore and all Councilmen were in attendance. <br /> minutes of the meeting held June 14,1982,were approved as printed, I <br /> as corrected,with Councilman Gipson abstaining fr.voting. , <br /> 1 <br /> PROCLAMATION 3 <br /> • <br /> Mayor Moore proclaimed July 3rd,1982,as"Grin 6 Groan"Day for the <br /> benefit of the Special Olympics to be held at Everett Memorial Stadium, <br /> i <br /> cosponsored by Radio Station FRED and Budweiser. <br /> GOLF COURSE COMMENDATION I <br /> A letter from Elden E,Williams,President of the Olympic View Men's <br /> Golf Club,was read complimenting the City on the excellent condition <br /> of W.E.Hall Golf Course. <br /> 4TH OP JULY PARADE . . <br /> ., . <br /> Moved by.Councilman Al seconded by Councilman Stephenson,to <br /> approve the:request by The American Legion to hold a parade July eth <br /> at 100 p.m.,and that the fee be waived. <br /> ftrela!:;:130,,,,,,s1:1,),22 East Drive,spoke in opposition of having <br /> . • <br /> Harriet Olson agreed a.suggested that it be held on Monday,JIlly 5th. <br /> instead of Sunday. <br /> • <br /> ,-: Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes. <br /> I Motion Carried <br /> • <br /> 1 AWC coNEERENCE REPORTS . <br /> CoUnCilman Overstreet reported he had attended a session about state .. <br /> Mandates.
